You’re invited to the Visualising Connections Webinar: Supporting pre-service and early career teacher connections in STEM and Digital Technologies.

Join Dr Sandy Nicoll and Brian Host as they share their experience in supporting new career and young educators use and develop effective practices in STEM education and using tech in advanced ways in classrooms. Dr Sandy is a Lecturer in Master of Research (STEM) at Excelsia College and founder of the New Brew Podcast. TheNewBrewPC is designed to empower preservice teachers and to give them a voice (agency). She has worked for two universities as a tutor, lecturer, convenor, and marker and as an editor of a professional education magazine. Her PhD focused on how do primary pre-service teachers learn to engage students in learning during professional experience?

Brian is a Coordinator of Primary. He has been a classroom teacher, ICT integrator, STEM and digital literacy coach. He is passionate educator driven by the possibilities digital and physical technologies have for classroom practice. Brian is a Google Certified Innovator, Google Certified Trainer, SeeSaw Certified Educator, Director of ICTENSW and holds a Masters of Educational Leadership with his research focusing on the leadership practices that foster the uptake and development of high quality, future-focused teaching and learning across the school.

Meeting details will be emailed to registered participants prior to the webinar. The webinar begins at 8.00pm Sydney time (AEDT). The recording of the introductory webinar can be found for ICTENSW members in the Resource section of the website http://ictensw.org.au
