Each year ICT Educators NSW holds a state conference – a key event on our educational calendar. These conferences are a great opportunity for professional learning through sharing practice with other teachers and educational leaders, viewing the latest technologies and being inspired by relevant keynote speakers.

2016 Conference Activities
2016 Pre-conference Educational tour – Friday 11th March
Meet at 8:00am at Blue Street entrance of North Sydney station.
Alternative meeting point Westmead station at Railway parade entrance at 9:00 am.
First visit: Parramatta Marist High – Learnt about Project Based Learning in a school that has used it as an intrinsic part of their instructional design. Tour classrooms designed to support PBL and heard from the leadership team about how it works for them.
Bus transfer to Macquarie university.
Second visit: Macquarie University
There are two exciting spaces to explore at Macquarie University. We were taken through the new library and shown around the mixture of learning, study and collaborative spaces as well as shown the robotic book retrieval system that saved the university library so much space. We also toured MUSE, the Macquarie university student space. This is a learning and socialising space designed by the students for the students and exemplifies what great, useful breakout spaces should be like.
Lunch was supplied at Macquarie university and snacks on the bus.
The tour finished at Macquarie university at approximately 3 pm.
Both Day Conference registration – Saturday 12th March and Sunday 13th March: $299 (includes ICTENSW annual membership renewal, or new membership)
Registration cancellations must be sent in writing (mail or email) to Secretary@ictensw.org.au . Registration cancellations received up to 30 days prior to the conference will receive a full refund, less a $30.00 handling fee. Registration cancellations received less than 30 days and up to seven days prior to the conference will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received within seven days of the conference however a substitute delegate may be nominated.
