ICTENSW and our School Librarian colleagues (SLANSW) would like to invite you to our 26th Annual Conference which will be held this year on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March 2016 (with educational tours on Friday 11th March). Connecting educators across primary, secondary and tertiary sectors, the conference provides opportunities for collaboration and professional learning across a range of disciplines and contexts. We hope to see you there!
Theme: Got IT, Do IT, Go for IT
The ICT Educators NSW 2016 Conference is a joint venture with the School Library Association of NSW and will be a major event on the state’s educational calendar. It will be packed with speakers, workshops, tours, and panels, and we are being welcomed in a new location: the Australian Catholic University, North Sydney Campus. This is an event not to be missed. There is something for everyone with streams focusing on Primary and Secondary Teaching & Learning, Digital Technologies, Computing Studies, STEM/MakerSpaces, Digital Leadership and a dedicated Library stream. Also included are panel discussions, hands-on maker spaces and a dynamic networking space. Active participation by delegates is a key theme dominating our conference program. Our diverse line-up of presenters is drawn from primary, secondary and tertiary, Government, Catholic and Independent school sectors. Follow this link to the conference schedule.
If you register for both Saturday and Sunday then your ICTENSW 2016 membership renewal or new membership application fee is INCLUDED in the cost of the conference registration. What a bargain! There is also a site tour on Friday focusing on some innovative educational practice.
