A day with Adobe


The ICTENSW Adobe Day at the amazing Adobe Sydney office in Darling Harbour will go through hands-on activities based on the theme of creativity in education with the Adobe Spark tools (iOS & Web Based), Premiere Clip (iOS & Android), Photoshop, Adobe Muse and InDesign in the morning. These will be facilitated by Dr Tim Kitchen (Adobe’s Senior Education Specialist, APAC). The afternoon session will be split into two with one group doing a HSC IT (Multi) session with Kelly Bauer and the second group working with Tim on video production techniques with Adobe Premiere-Pro.

No previous knowledge of or experience with Adobe software is required.

All participants are encouraged to bring a laptop with the following applications installed:

  • Adobe Photoshop CC
  • Adobe Muse
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Premiere Pro

An iPad or iPhone (if available) with the following apps

  • Adobe Spark Post
  • Adobe Spark Video
  • Adobe Spark Page
  • Adobe Premiere Clip

An Android tablet or phone (if available) with Adobe Premiere Clip

12.30 - Print & online publications with InDesign

1.00 - Lunch

1.30 to 4.00 - Choice of two groups

Group A - Premiere Pro Video Production workshop with Tim Kitchen

Group B - HSC IT (Multi) session with Kelly Bauer
